Daytona needs a change

Daytona, I’m not gonna sugarcoat it, we’re in for a rough couple years. Corruption runs rampant through our city hall from backroom deals to give our tax dollars to developers who intend on paving over our beautiful wetlands, flooding our homes from the runoff.

NO MORE

The working class citizens of Daytona Beach are sick and tired of having disconnected public officials who cater only to investors and developers motivated by profit. I plan to bring back representation to the Daytona residents who live and work here. Building a better future together!

Accountability

With audits and mismanaged spending, the city government has lost trust with their citizens that will need to be earned back with transparency and accountability I strive to improve. More of our community needs to be aware of what the city chooses to do with the taxpayers money. Not let our dollars funnel into another big developer’s pocket.

Food prices are skyrocketing, gas prices are following soon after, and the future is looking economically grim. We will need to work together as a community to weather the oncoming storm. With your support, I intend to do everything in my power to help working class families afford to put food on the table. I grew up in a working class family of five. My parents both worked hard to put a roof over our heads. But now, we have our fellow neighbors working two jobs and gig work just to afford one night at a motel.

STOP FLOODING

Ask any resident of the entirety of Volusia County. The biggest concern with every municipal and local area is on the mind of every property owner. What are we going to do about the flooding? Our elected officials seem to ignore our pleas and instead, look towards investors and developers, ignoring those in the “Midtown Fishbowl” of Daytona. I plan to address flooding with a more direct approach. Establishing emergency services to be at the ready to service our residents to keep us safe, as is the DUTY of our elected officials.
